I could go on and on but quite frankly the only thing to say is that the French got it right, and still have it right.
The secret to it all?
Butter.
Delicious, pure, creamy, unadulterated butter.
Not oil.
Not lard.
Not margarine.
Butter.
And love. The French are renowned for being passionate people, and baking is all about passion. The perfect combination? I think so.
Love what you do and do what you love.
If you can speak in a French accent while doing so, all the better.
